How to use SpriteGrid
Customizing
Themes and style#
Edit ▸ Theme... picks the colors and the look. Click a theme to try it on the whole app at once; Cancel goes back.
- Style: Pixel, SpriteGrid's pixel-art look, or Professional, smooth and bevelled with the Inter font.
- Themes: 12 to choose from, dark and light, like Gruvbox, Dracula, Monokai, Catppuccin and Solarized.
- Open Themes Folder: every theme is a file there. Copy one to make your own: see Make a theme.
Settings#
Edit ▸ General Settings...:
- UI scale: automatic, or 1× to 4×.
- Animations: the interface's motion, off, normal or quick.
- Checker size, the transparent checkerboard's squares, and how fast the mouse wheel zooms.
- Crop thumbnails to content, for the Layers panel.
Panels#
Drag panels by their tabs to rearrange them, give them windows of their own, or stack them. Right-click a tab to close or collapse it. The View menu shows and hides every panel, and View ▸ Reset Panel Layout puts them back as they started. SpriteGrid remembers your layout.
Keyboard shortcuts#
Edit ▸ Keyboard Shortcuts... lists every shortcut. Search for one, click it and press the new keys. A ! marks two actions that share keys. Reset to Defaults puts them all back. The defaults are on Keyboard shortcuts.
